Centering Joy and Connection in Communication

At With Joy Speech, I know that the key to success is doing things with joy. My mission is not to "fix" but rather to empower every child, teenager, and adult I work with to foster authentic connections, build self-confidence, and share their unique stories whether through spoken language, scripts, gestures, or speech-generating devices.

Grounded in the principles of neurodiversity, disability justice, and collective liberation, I combine evidence-based practice with a deep respect for each individual’s lived experience. I balance neuroaffirming, trauma-informed practices with current research and existing evidence-based practices.

I partner closely with families, educators, and other professionals to foster confidence and consistency across all environments. I recognize that I play a part of a larger support team and that true communication success comes from respect, trust, and collaboration.

At With Joy Speech, we celebrate those differences through a practice that honors every voice, every body, and every way of being.
